Deer

Aaaalright, here's another picture for the website. This one is the deer!

So, Aqua sketched me one, but after I outlined it, it didn't... feel right. But I didn't want to ask her to sketch another one, cause I've done that before D; So decided to try drawing one on my own

About half an hour into trying, and around three papers later, I remembered that I had a how-to-draw book on wild animals. So I found it and opened it up to the deer page, and began to draw the deer it had there. I was fine with drawing the head, the torso and neck, and tail, but the legs... oooh the legs.

So I will admit that I actually ended up tracing the legs a bit, and then refining them on my own. I also traced the antlers and the ears. But hey, it was a how-to-draw books, so that kind of thing is okay c:

Based the coloring off the white-tailed deer. The pose is simple, one I took directly from the book and basically copied it. Looks pretty good, I think, after about two hours of working on it xD
