Painted Upon

One thing I don't think I've ever mentioned is how Siyago's kingdom, Remnic, is loosely influenced by ancient Asian culture. Mostly it's just their architecture and clothes, though. They wear robes (when anthro or human, not when they are fully dragons), and most of their environment is similar. However, they themselves are not based off of Asian culture, and they don't really behave that way either.

Soooo this picture took much longer than was necessary xD Right after I finished the lineart, my laptop had a heart attack and completely died. Fortunately I had saved, but it meant I couldn't work on it. Then two days later, I got a new laptop, but I didn't have photoshop... plus the next day I was leaving for Washington DC for six days.

Thennn when I got back, I started working on this guy again, but I discovered that the Magic Mouse I got my for my mac doesn't move quite as smoothly as my other mouse did on the PC, meaning it was kinda difficult for me to draw. So basically I had to learn to draw ALL OVER AGAIN on this computer XD It was really really painful.

Sooo here's a new picture of Siyago that I'm gonna put on his petpage. I didn't like the other one cause it was too hard to see his markings :C I really really like this one though. I tried a different shading style to make it look more painty-ish, and I think I like it well enough. Also decided his tail needed a little more interest, so I gave him some feather things C:
